Our editorial team
The MyBankFinder Editorial Team is a group of personal-finance writers and editors covering deposit accounts, CDs, money markets, credit unions, and consumer banking policy. Articles are signed under the team byline so readers know our process — not an individual's name — is what stands behind the work.
How we research
- Primary sources first. Rate environment and policy claims are anchored to the FDIC, Federal Reserve, NCUA, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, U.S. Treasury, and other government agencies wherever possible.
- Industry-survey sources second. When primary data is not available, we cite established industry rate surveys (e.g. Bankrate's national survey).
- Direct from the institution. Product-level details (APYs, minimum deposits, fee schedules) are taken from each bank's published disclosures.
